i've never been one to pursue what i've dreamt of. i think i've grown up in an environment which has been too practical. and i think i've played a part in creating that environment.
the world and society teaches you to go after things that will give you a better chance of living well in life. and whilst that is good - we should all strive to make sure that we can provide financially of ourselves, though not in an obsessive manner - i wonder how good that is.
what about dreams? gee this sounds so cheesy. it's giving me goosebumps (my practical side of me is speaking). what about pursuing things that make us happy? that make us look forward to the future?
if what you're going after now makes you look forward to the future then i think you're along the right path in life. but if there's a mismatch.. maybe some of the roads need to be repaved.
i just had a conversation with sarah on skype. and i must say that she's inspired me to, okay breathe, dare to dream, dare to be adventurous, dare to be different, dare to be that one who pursues something that challenges the social norms.
okay i shall try!
